Our goal is to offer premier Hot Air Balloon Rides for all to enjoy. We strive to make your Hot Air Balloon Ride over scenic New York a wonderful experience that you will cherish for years to come. We offer a variety of beautiful launch sites throughout New York State, but we are also happy to come to you and fly from your own backyard. Liberty Balloon Company was founded in 1976 by former Navy aviator Carroll Teitsworth. From the beginning, it has been a family friendly business, In addition to providing an always exciting atmosphere for kids, many of those who have taken a ride, trained with us or served as crew have become like family as well.

To us, flying is more than a business. Ballooning is a lifelong passion, and a constant reminder of God's gentleness, majesty and blessing. We hope if you do business with us, or just stop to watch us floating by, you will find in some measure these same inspirations as well.

Call it what you like, but you can only do it in a Hot Air Balloon! Only a balloon lets you come down from the sky, float across the water and then return to the clouds. It's absolutely Incredible.  The beauty of our Hot Air Balloons is that there are no "bad seats".  Our balloons accommodate two to four passengers. This means that you get to look in every direction and see beautiful panoramic views!

After you come down from the heights the pilot may take you skimming through the tree tops. What a great way to look down into the forest and see the wild life.  While skimming through the tree tops, why not pick a leaf or pine cone from the top of a tree! Few people get to do such a thing and many like to keep their prize as a souvenir.  From whitetail deer in the forest, to red fox scampering through a wheat field, to great blue herons gliding across riverbeds and maybe even a bear crossing a road. You can spot all sorts of wildlife from a balloon. You can't match a fresh picked bunch of wildflowers delivered straight from a hot-air balloon basket!

FINGER LAKES WINE COUNTRY - $225 per person

The launch site is located on Brickyard Road in Canandaigua.  Morning flights from this location include breakfast!

CONESUS LAKE - $225 per person

Imagine riding on a gentle breeze while peacefully floating over this lovely Finger Lake. If conditions are right, you may even get to do a Splash and Dash!

The launch site is located at the ReMax office in Lakeville.

LETCHWORTH PARK AREA - $225 per person

Few locations rival the majesty of "The Grand Canyon of the East." The Gorges of Letchworth Park are magnificent, and provide an excellent location for a memorable balloon ride.

The launch site is located near Castile.

GENESEE - $225 per person

The Genesee River is a majestic meandering river that flows peacefully through the scenic Genesee Valley. A beautiful sight to see from the air.

The launch site is located at the Geneseo Airport.

ROMANCE PACKAGE - $795 per flight per couple

This package offers a guaranteed exclusive 2-person flight. Perfect for proposals, anniversaries, special dates or any other occasion where you and your guest wish to be the only passengers on the flight.

This package is available from any of our standard locations mentioned above.

EVENT PROGRAMS

Liberty Balloon Company can provide a hot-air balloon for any event, from weddings, graduations or mitzvahs to corporate events such as company picnics, grand openings or special sales. Typically, a balloon event or promotion involves a tethered flight. This means that the balloon (or balloons) are inflated and fly while still anchored to the ground by ropes.

Weddings - All packages begin at $2500 per balloon

Liberty Balloon Company can help you celebrate your wedding in a variety of ways. We can provide up to three Hot Air Balloons to do everything from displaying a "Just Married" banner to flying away from the reception with the Bride and Groom. Or, if you would like, you can even get married in a Hot Air Balloon.

Hot Air Balloons create great photo opportunities and provide fun and unique entertainment for you and your guests. Imagine friends and family participating in a short tethered ride at your reception! You could even incorporate a balloon activity as rehearsal dinner entertainment, or as a way to entertain out of town guests while you attend to wedding details (or escape on your honeymoon)!

Some of the most popular wedding packages:

1. Tether - This is a very popular choice for a wedding of any size. At the reception, we tie off the balloon and give the wedding party and guests rides up to 70 feet in the air. This is a spectacular way for everyone to be involved and take a short ride in a Hot Air Balloon.

2. Wedding Vows in the Air - Some people have always dreamed of getting married in a Hot Air Balloon. We lift off with the Bride, Groom, Minister (or J.P.) and up to two other guests. The ceremony is conducted while floating peacefully over the scenic countryside, then we start you on your new life together with an optional picnic "reception" accompanying the toast. This is a perfect choice for a small, private ceremony.

3. Leave the Reception in a Balloon - Instead of leaving the reception in a Limo, top off the day with a fabulous grand finale by taking off in a Hot Air Balloon! This can be a stand alone event, or can be planned in conjunction with a tether.

4. Ceremony in a Basket, Then Fly Away- You can also get married in the basket so your guests can watch. But after the kiss the couple lifts off and flies away to begin their life together.
